Shiva,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The red LED indicates that the device is in continuous reset state.&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have you been able to load an application and debug it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If yes, then red LED should not be on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If no, then you might need to re-install debugger firmware.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please review following:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://freescale.jiveon.com/docs/DOC-330146" title="https://freescale.jiveon.com/docs/DOC-330146"&gt;Summary of FRDM-K22F debug interface | NXP Community&lt;/A&gt; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;With updated debugger firmware (this updates on the K20) you should be able to download application example to the K22.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If red LED still on, then you might have to visually check the board for defect or damage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;David &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;On plugging the USB port of my FRDM-K22F with my laptop, a RED LED(D2) is continuously ON.&amp;nbsp; And may be because of none of the example codes been debugged. Can you please guide me to solve this issue.
