Unable to flash a target

Using K10,CW10.1,P&E JTAG

I've made some changes to the linker command file (lcf file), as a result when trying to debug the program , after CW downloaded the new program , I've got the following error message.

"Failed to resume target process, Downloaded ELF file".

Resetting the board(power down) , the PC , going back to the old lcf file , before any changes , did not work.

Taking the board and reflashing it on a different computer , solved the problem. When I took the flashed board , I was able to re-flash and debug it.

It seems that something has happened to the flash memory ???? or to the JTAG ??? it it just could not recover ?

Has anyone seen that problem and have suggestions as what might have caused it ?

Hi,

Did you get any further clarification on the same from freescale support?

I am facing the same problem with K40 tower kit.

I had to re-flash my P&E multilink programmer in order to fix a similar issue. You might try that.
