      <title>KL16 low power crystal startup time</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am using a MKL16Z256VLH4 with a 32768 Hz crystal running in lower power mode (HGO=0).&amp;nbsp; The datasheet lists the typical crystal startup time (t&lt;SPAN style="font-size: 8pt;"&gt;sct&lt;/SPAN&gt;) as 750 ms, and I do see something like that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My question is what should I assume for the maximum time. Currently I am using 1 second. The processor is running at 3.0V (+/-4%) and the expected die temperature range is 15C to 45C.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
