Driving a BLDC motor?

Hello, I am trying to figure out what are all the components that I need to drive a BLDC motor to speeds of 5-100 rpm. The motor has hall sensors. I am not familiar with brushless motors and circuitry so any help would be great! Are there any Freescale drivers that could be used?

HI, juan

I'd like to suggest you can choose the KE02 , KE02 is a 5 V MCU with enhanced FlexTimer(FTM), suitable for BLDC motor control. You can learn more detail information about KE02 through the link as below.

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/ref_manual/MKE02Z64M20SF0RM.pdf?fasp=1&WT_TYPE=Reference%20Manuals&WT_VENDOR=…

And there is a ready-made solution to diver BLDC with FRDM-KE02Z. You can learn more about the solution by click the link below.

http://cache.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/app_note/AN4776.pdf?fromsite

Have a good day,

Xi Fan

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.

Hi,

Maybe you can refer to the simple code of KV10, it has three versions,CW,keil and IAR, and you can migrate it on KE02.

https://www.freescale.com/webapp/sps/download/preDownload.jsp

Xi
