Hello,

I have just assembled a custom board using MKL43Z, with a brand new chip.

When I connect it to the USB, it is enumerated as Kinetis bootloader.

However, when I run blhost get-property 17, it returns that the device is SECURED....

Is that correct for a brand new Chip?? What can I do to program it and/or remove the security??

Regards,

Thiago

I have tried to unsecure it via blhost with no success:

Is the new Chip lost?

Mensagem editada por: Thiago Palmieri

On our board, we had to use the J-Link Commander and use the "Unlock Kinetis" command to unsecure the chip.

Is there any way that does not involve a third party hardware?

I don't have a segger J-link and to buy one would not be ideal for mi right now, is there any other way?

I just happen to have an Olimex-arm-usb-ocd-h + arm-jtag-swd + arm-jtag-20-10, is it possible to use that setup to unsecure the chip??
