I need some pointers to find startup information.

I have picked the KE04Z8VWJ4.

I have only programmed microchip MCU's before.

Where do I start?

I need to know the IDE.

I need a programmer.

Where do I find the datasheet about the language (assembly). I've looked everywhere.

I am on a deadline to get a project done. Please help.

You can find all the information regarding the IDE and the programmer in the next link

KE04 |Kinetis KE04 48 MHz Robustness MCUs|Freescale

As you can see, you could use different IDE, such as CW, KDS, etc. For the programmer, the one compatible with the KE04Z is the CycloneMax for P&E, is also listed in the link above.

I've attached the Reference Manual, which describes all the features, architecture and programming model of the KE04Z.

The Cyclone MAX (programmer) is very expensive.
