Understanding the Linker (lcf) File

Can someone please direct me to a comprehensive guide on the various instructions that can be used in the lcf file.

I have just started on a Kinetis project, having previously worked on HCS12, so this is unfamiliar territory for me. I have gleaned a few things from example programs, but am looking for a proper guide. The project will require a customised bootloader, to be backwardly compatible with existing products.

If you open codewarrior 10, look under help I believe there is a good section on the syntax.

you can finde a good guide under:

C:\Program Files\Freescale\CW MCU v10.1\MCU\Help\PDF\MCU_Kinetis_Compiler.pdf

Have a look at chapter 12
