Hi, I'm trying to use the I2S to drive a 4 channel 24 bit DAC. I'm a bit confused as to how the I2S functions on the K20 as it doesn't have a LRCLK and instead has 2 data output pins. Do these represent L/R instead of being time multiplexed or do they both hold L/R giving me 4 channels?

Hi,

The K20 each I2S module has two data transmit channels pins and two independent data receive channels pins.

Both data transmit channels can work at the same time. The two I2S modules provides 4 data transmit channels.

So, it could match with customer requirement.

Wish it helps.
best regards
Ma Hui

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
