The document you shared is helping me in understanding the concept well.

While going through the RM of K60, in FlexCAN chapter terminologies called mailbox and message buffer are used. I'm a little confused here. Are they same? and can be interchangeabe? Or mailboxes are completely different from message buffers?

Thanks

Hi all,

I have been looking for FlexCAN example code on K series(for TWR-K60D100M/K20D72M in particular). I found the one with the loopback mode in CW installation directory. Tried converting it into interboard communication using TWR-SER and some modifications in the example code. But I'm not getting the interrupts at all.

So, Can anybody share the code(non loopback) for FlexCAN?

Thanks,

pramod

Hi Mark,

Thanks for redirecting. From what I get now, Message buffer is a part of HW. Mailbox is the software side buffer implemented in the CAN driver.

Based on the mask filter for individual mailbox, the message is recieved/rejected from the message buffer.

Regards,

Pramod
