topic Re: Is an assembly drawing for the FRDM-K22F available? in Kinetis Microcontrollers

The referenced file is the fabrication drawing which details how the bare PCB is to be made.

What I'm looking for is a drawing that details how the components are positioned for the final assembly. In general this drawing is almost the same as the silkscreen but it shows component outlines, etc. In cases where small components are used, like 0402, it helps in showing the orientation of the components. I know it's not needed for automated assembly, but when doing manual work it's a great help.

Thanks.

I am interested in building up the "optional" components on the FRDM-K22F and would like to know if a (human readable) assembly drawing is available. There are a few components where the silkscreen is not totally clear and I'd like to avoid any mistakes.

Alternatively, is there a free reader for the design files? I tried the Allegro reader and had no success. Any pointers in this area would be welcome.

Thanks.
