      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are digital K60 I/O 5V tolerant when used as inputs?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the datasheet the Absolute Maximum Rating is -0.3V to +5.5V, so it seems it would be safe to interface a 5V signal.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What do you think?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;"All 5 volt tolerant digital I/O pins are internally clamped to VSS through a ESD protection diode. There is no diode connection to VDD." So yes, they are 5V tolerant. You just have to find out which of the I/O pins are 5V tolerant.&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone know if the ADC inputs on the Kinetis 40&amp;nbsp; series are 5V tolerant? The data says the digital I/Os only, not the analog inputs are 5V tolerant. The definition of analog is unclear - some of the ADC inputs have digital input options too.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
