Problem regarding External RTC crystal

We have connected a 32Khz crystal(Abracon's ABS25-32.000KHZ-T) to be used as RTC clock input between PTC1 and PTE0. We have made such an arrangement in 40 different boards. Now we got a problem that crystal frequency is not coming. Might it be a problem with the crystal? Suggest me if there are any settings i need to do with the microcontroller when using crystal at PTC1

I am "guessing" you are using a KL25 (or similar).

If this is the case see Re: RTC_CLKIN and RTC_CLKOUT pins assignment on Kinetis and Re: KL25 RTC OSCILLATOR SELECTION

Unfortunately you can't use a crystal with this device since it doesn't have an oscillator - you would need to modify the boards and add a crystal oscillaor circuit in place fo the crystal (see the TWR-KL25Z48M circuit as reference.
