    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have connected a 32Khz crystal(Abracon's ABS25-32.000KHZ-T) to be used as RTC clock input between PTC1 and PTE0. We have made such an arrangement in 40 different boards. Now we got a problem that crystal frequency is not coming. Might it be a problem with the crystal? Suggest me if there are any settings i need to do with the microcontroller when using crystal at PTC1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Embionics Technologies&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am "guessing" you are using a KL25 (or similar).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If this is the case see &lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/message/398099"&gt;Re: RTC_CLKIN and RTC_CLKOUT pins assignment on Kinetis&lt;/A&gt; and &lt;A href="https://community.nxp.com/message/332226"&gt;Re: KL25 RTC OSCILLATOR SELECTION&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately you can't use a crystal with this device since it doesn't have an oscillator - you would need to modify the boards and add a crystal oscillaor circuit in place fo the crystal (see the TWR-KL25Z48M circuit as reference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Mark&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
