Hi Siva Kumar Anantharaman,

The core clock is used to drive the ARM cortex-m core, while bus clock is used by the bus slaves and peripherals. In most cases for Kinetis part, the max bus clock is half of the max core clock, but for special case such as 50MHz part, they can be the same. Please refer to the chaper 5 "Clock Distribution" for more details.
