Kinetis X - Will it happen?

Hi guys,

Some documents on the freescale website (like http://www.freescale.com/files/32bit/doc/fact_sheet/KINETISXSERIESFS.pdf), mention the X series of Kinetis. The press release was made at the end of 2011, but till now there has not been any news on the X family. Is the X familly still planned to be released, or was this plan abandoned?

Up to now, I never heard X series product plan is stop from my side. So I think it should be in progress.

I think that the project has been abandoned, there is no information of presample or more info
