RT1176 Custom Board Bring-up: Boot from SPI NAND (W25N512G) and Initial Firmware Download Issue

Hi,

I am working on a custom board based on the MIMXRT1176CVM8A MCU and currently in the board bring-up phase.

For reference, I am using the RT1176 EVKB, which uses W25Q512 QSPI NOR Flash for booting. However, in our custom board design, we have used W25N512G SPI NAND Flash instead of QSPI NOR Flash.

Currently, I am facing issues with downloading and running firmware on the custom board.

I would like to clarify the following:

Does RT1176 support booting directly from SPI NAND Flash (W25N512G)?
If SPI NAND boot is not supported, what is the recommended boot source for custom boards?
In the absence of QSPI NOR Flash, what is the correct method to download firmware for the first time?
Can Serial Downloader mode (USB/UART) be used reliably in this case?
Are there any reference examples or application notes for using SPI NAND Flash with RT1176 for storage purposes?

Additional information:

SDRAM is used in the design and configured similar to EVKB.
Facing issues during debug and flashing (core not detected / unable to run code).

Any suggestions or guidance would be very helpful.
