Hello,

I am working with the MIMXRT1170-EVKB development board. I cloned a hello_world_cm7 project and integrated the ROM API demo code into it. While debugging, the output shows successful execution, but when running in non-debug mode, the board continuously resets and fails to operate normally. Are any additional modifications required?

Keil MDK: 5.43.1.0
Keil MDK Project: flexspi_nor_debug

Hello @passman,

If you debug an SDK example, such as hello_world_cm7 without modifications, does the same issue occur?

Also, the SDK (version 26.09) provides an example in Keil for using the ROM_API called "fsl_romapi_cm7", which could be helpful.
Additionally, Chapter 10.13, called "ROM APIs", offers detailed information and code examples for its usage.
