EVKMIMXRT1064_sd_jpeg Memory Allocation Error

I have an i.MX RT1064 Eval Kit with an RK043FN66HS-CTG LCD screen. After successfully running the hello world project, I attempted to run the sd_jpeg demo.

I formatted and installed an SD card with the zipped images, but inside the jpeg_decode function at line 177, the code exits with "memory allocation error."

Did I miss a configuration step for the example code to run?
