No SWD available on RT1064 EVK now

I have a RT1064 EVK which I've been using happily with MCUXpresso 11.0.1, until I tried to use the SDRAM. I used the technique described in https://community.nxp.com/message/1210007?commentID=1210007#comment-1210007 (I know, that's for the RT1050) but ever since downloading the resulting executable, I have not been able to debug anything - I get a popup saying "0 available SWD devices detected - Connect a device and try again". Restarting the board and MCUXpresso does not help. I can't download/debug even programs that used to work. How do I recover?

Still, I am facing the same issue after changing the boot mode also.
