Hi,

I am trying to build and run AVB-Endpoint on the evk-MIMXRT1180 platform.
Either on the Cortex-m33 or Cortex-m7 processor.
I think this should be possible, as the platfrom has hardware support for audio processing.
Can you confirm this?

I am working with the following software packages;

--genavb-sdk-6_3_3

--SDK_2_16_000_MIMXRT1180-EVK

-- genavb-apps-freertos-6_3_3 <-- here we got the examples

The examples doesnt contain AVB-Endpoint for MIMXRT1180-EVK,
however when i research the MIMXRT1180-EVK SDK and compare it with MIMXRT1170-EVK SDK.
i think it should be possible for MIMXRT1180-EVK to run AVB-Endpoint only the sdk doesn't contain the functionalities yet , like for example fsl_anatop_ai.c file in the MIMXRT1170 SDK, which enables writting and reading audio data fom and to PLL registers.
we dont have this file or functionalities in MIMXRT1180-EVK SDK yet, but deeper investigation shows me that i can add this functions myself.

Can you give me more information/insight about this?

Since the RT1180 is still in preproduction and therefore not yet public, we are not able to provide you with information about this product on the public community forum just yet. Please contact your NXP representative (DBM) that provided you with this device for the latest information about the AVB endpoints on the RT1180.
