Gigabit Ethernet PHY alternative for use with RT1176

The MIMXRT1170 EVK Board uses a Realtek RTL8211FDI-CG 10/100/1000 Ethernet transceiver. The RTL8211 looks like an older part. It appears that availability was not good for the RTL8211 even before recent shortages. Does anyone have a better or more available part to suggest for an industrial temp range application?

I'm assuming any alternate part would require firmware rework, but let me know if this would not be the case.

If it makes a difference, we do plan to take advantage of time-sensitive-networking (TSN) capability. Let me know if the transceiver choice affects TSN functionality...I still have much to learn about TSN.

Hello,

The only part that we can recommend is the one that comes with the EVK since it's the only one we have tested. If you want a replacement, you will need to contact the manufacturer, Realtek, so that they can give some recommendations.
