Hi @tomerk ,

Thanks for your interest in NXP I.MXRT series.

Can you help clarify here? What do you mean the CPU won't run when debugger is not used?

Thanks!

Best regards,

Gavin

some of the times when i give power nothing happens. In some cases the circuit turns on but probably goes straight into BOOT (one of the lights on the circuit lights up for me). Only in this mode can I burn it and run the mcuxpresso DEBUGGER and then through the DEBUGGER it runs. As soon as I turn off the power and turn it back on, it returns to the states I wrote down.

Hi @tomerk ,

Hope you are doing well!

In your description it seems that image is flashed into RAM to run? Suggest you try deleting and re-importing one of the simplest demos: e.g. Hello_world. Also, switch to 5V DC_DC power supply.

1. make sure SW7 is 0-0-1-0;
2. connect the jumper on J1 to 1-2 pin; (at this time the power supply is the 5V from the J1 port)
3. adjust SW1 to turn on the power supply switch;
4. flash IMAGE through J41;

Best regards,
Gavin
