&lt;P class="lia-align-justify"&gt;Nonetheless, according to &lt;A href="https://doc.embedded-wizard.de/getting-started-mimxrt1170-evk" target="_blank"&gt;i.MX RT1170 - Embedded Wizard&lt;/A&gt;: "[…]a few additional settings can be configured directly within the&amp;nbsp;Makefile, like the usage of the FreeRTOS operating system."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="lia-align-justify"&gt;Could you please take a look at the following community post: &lt;A href="https://ask.embedded-wizard.de/5911/choose-freertos-used-the-pxp-version-the-software-for-rt1170" target="_blank"&gt;How do I choose if FreeRTOS is used or not in the PXP version of the software for RT1170? - Ask Embedded Wizard&lt;/A&gt;?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="lia-align-justify"&gt;In case you still have some issues changing the EW_USE_FREE_RTOS=0 you could go to the .cproject and change it there.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>imxrt1170 embedded wizard example issue</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am using a custom board with IMXrt1170. I have run the graphics accelerator example in SDK 2.14.0&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When EW_USE_FREE_RTOS flag is enabled, example runs very well. However, when the flag is disabled, it not.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I need that example with no FreeRtos. I want GPU2D, VGLite, to use directly on bare metal without RTOS.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
