1. ASIL and SIL compliancy level for industrial and automotive ? ASIL-B/C/D and SIL-2/3 ? Do you have plans in the future to get these compliancy certificates ? or do you already have them ?

2. Also,

It says temperature gradient from

-40 to +125 for Automotive Part Number under i.MX RT 1171/72 which is AEC-Q100 Grade 1 requirements.

Please let me know if there are any plans for AEC-Q100 Grade 1 compliance for the i.MX RT 1171/72 family ? Or do you already have it ? This is required for an automotive OEM.

Hi @Kiyasul ,

The i.MX RT 1170 auto PNs are qualified to AEC-Q100 Grade 3 with PPAP. However, the documents you need are shared under NDA with your nearest distributor.

i.MX RT1170 (Auto version) isn't a ASIL rated device but QM. As a QM device, it only can be used in ASIL A/B system/application, cannot support ASIL D application.

Regards,

Hi Jing

Further question according to you reply. For ASIL A requirement of CAN and button (GPIO), Can just use RT1170 standalone? Or it must has a additional ASIL A level of MCU to do it?
