Hi @Naveed

Some i.MX RT devices have the BEE and others the OFTAD engine.

Which i.MX RT device are you using? So I can help you to verify with ease <LI-EMOJI id="lia_slightly-smiling-face" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"></LI-EMOJI>

Also, here we can pick the proper SDK API reference manual for our chip https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/en/apidoc

Hi

I am looking for the BEE: Bus Encryption Engine to understand it.

I referred this link: MCUXpresso SDK API Reference Manual: BEE: Bus Encryption Engine (nxp.com)

But I couldn't able find the bee file in the SDK package. I searched for it.

In the link it is given the path: Refer to the driver examples codes located at <SDK_ROOT>/boards/<BOARD>/driver_examples/bee

I couldn't find it in the package. Can you please tell me where can I find this BEE example code? Am I missing anything here.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Thankyou for reply.

I am using iMXRT1170 EVK board. Can you share me the example code on Bus Encryption Engine or IEE(Inline Encryption Engine) for this board.

If this board doesn't have BEE. Share the OFTAD engine examples you mentioned. You mean On-the-Fly AES Decryption (OTFAD).

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Naveed

Thank you for your reply as well!

You can find the SDK example for the IEE in the SDK named as evkmimxrt1170_iee_apc. Let me know if you get any trouble to find it.

We have an application note for OTFAD (sorry for the misspelling) this application note explains the setup of this peripheral and provides an example.

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN13198.pdf
