This is a late response, but I consistently experience this issue with J-Link and MIMXRT1064. It is seemingly related to the J-Link version, but has anyone at NXP tested a fresh install recently? J-Link debugging while, for example, the SDK example Blinky is running in onboard flash is unusable. I've tested many different J-Links, all with the same issue.

MCU-Link-Pro doesn't have these issues.
