How to connect MCU Boot Utility to iMXRT105 via UART

Hi all,

I'm working on custom board using MIMXRT1052CVL5B. I was config "SEC_CFG[1] = 1" in "MCU Boot Utility v3.4.0" software via UART:

After i Save->Burn->Reboot my board, i cannot connect to "MCU Boot Utility" via UART. When i connect, this messeger show:

My question: "How to connect MCU Boot Utility to iMXRT105 via UART".

Hi，

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products and for the opportunity to serve you.
Firstly, the HAB secure boot has already been enabled after burning the SEC_CFG[1], secondly, it needs to import keys for the MCUbootUtility tool, and last, it should select the HAB Signed Image Boot.

Hi, thanks you for your reply.

I readed MCU Boot Utility's manual, and finded instruction Enable HAB signature authentication:

However, i never set a keys for imxrt, therefore i don't know keys. Can you help me to find "Serial (8 digits)" and "key_pass (text)" ?

Hi,
1) Can you help me to find "Serial (8 digits)" and "key_pass (text)" ?
-- Please check it under the NXP-MCUBootUtility-master\gen\hab_cert directory.
Plus, please select the HAB Signed Image Boot prior to clicking the Connect to ROM and you can give it a try.
