RT1170-EVK ADC_ETC target commandID setting

Hello

HW: RT1170EVK

SW: MCUXpresso v11.5.0

I am trying to deep understand the LPADC and ADC_ETC configuration, here is one thing which I feel very strange

the LPADC setup was

beside, the ADC_ETC setup was:

The interesting thing is, I tested the example code with both scenarios, which means:

scenario 1: ADC target command ID = 1 (meanwhile LPADC command ID = 1)

scenario 2: ADC target command ID = 2 (meanwhile LPADC command ID = 1)

I was astonished, with different setting of this parameter, I always got the same result. Which means, the ADC give me always the same value from analog input channel which I set it up in LPADC1

It seems, the origin command ID = 1 from LPADC setup was "replaced" by the ADC_ETC (target command ID) setting. but why?
