      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am using IMXRT 1050 micro controller and MAX 17260 chip for battery capacity reading.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now i want to check whether battery is connected or removed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As per the datasheet i am reading the register "CONFIG REGISTER" it is always coming value as 0x2210&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In CONFIG Register(0x1D),&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bit positions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;0th bit&amp;nbsp; D0 - Ber &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; (battery Removal)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1st bit&amp;nbsp; D1 - Bei &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; (battery Insertion)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can anyone please guide me how to get the connection or removal status of MAX 17260 battery.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
