Dear Sir

I have a NXP RT1050-EVB. (Core Chip : MIMXRT1052DVL6A, Sticker: SCH-29538 REV A4)

I downloaded "SDK_2_10_0_EVKB-IMXRT1050" from NXP website.

And I built a "jpeg example" and used iar(IDE 8.32.1) for debugging (by sdram_debug).

Unfortunately, this example does not work, it will fail in this function "SDMMCHOST_TransferFunction".

And "SDK_2.9.1_EVKB-IMXRT1050" and "SDK_2_8_0_EVKB-IMXRT1050" have the same issue.

But I used "SDK_2.7.0_EVKB-IMXRT1050", it is working.

Could you let me know how to fix this issue? I needs to use the latest SDK.

I tested the example using same board and MCUXpresso SDK 2.10 and it worked correctly, please check snippet below.

Thank you for your reply.

This is really bad. Because I have two pieces of MIMXRT1050-EVK in my hand.

That are the same issue.

"SDK_2_10_0_EVKB-IMXRT1050", SDK_2.9.1_EVKB-IMXRT1050" and "SDK_2_8_0_EVKB-IMXRT1050" can not work.

"SDK_2.7.0_EVKB-IMXRT1050", it is working.

Could you have any suggestions, from which direction should I debug, or what information I can provide to you that will help clarify this problem.

Maybe you can try with different SD card or by formatting current SD card, I have seen this fixes some issues sometimes.

Also you mentioned that the example failed in SDMMCHOST_TransferFunction, I recommend you to debug and compare related register configuration at this point between the working SDK and the one that does not work to see if there are any noticeable difference.

I will test another T-flash Card on RT1050-EVB in the future.

Anyway, because I also have a RT1060-EVB. I used the same SDK on this EVB, it is working well.

So, first I am using RT1060-EVB for development.
