Hi, All

Try to use serial mode with UART on EVK-RT1024 with SPT, and cannot get it working, I connect the PC UART to board J17, pin 8 &10, and also put the board into serial mode, however, the USB connect test shows failed result as below when click test Connection button.

I am intended to use the UART for our target board for factory programming using the SPT, not sure it works, there is no room for USB layout on this particular product.

Urgent help is needed please - does SPT support UART? or what I have done wrong?

Regards!

Ping

Hello Ping,

I just made a couple of tests on my end, and I didn't face any problems. I connect the board to the computer through J23 since the UART1 pins are connected to this USB connector.

You need to connect the USB cable to the same USB connector that you use for the debugger. Also, verify that you are selecting the correct COM Port.

Regards,
Victor
