topic RT1050 with external 16-bit low power SDRAM in i.MX RT Crossover MCUs

I have configured the RT1050 to use the SEMC to interface to a external 16-bit SDRAM. The SDRAM is a Winbond 512Mb Low Power SDRAM (W989D6DB) operating at 1.8V power supply.

The SDRAM works fine most at the time, but some times it happens that the memory access fails after power up sequence. Does any one have a idea what can cause this problem?

Hello,

I think, it makes sense to discuss memory (power up) initialization sequence

with memory manufacturer directly. I do not see such specs in their Datasheet.

https://www.winbond.com/resource-files/w989dxdb_pkg_datasheet_a01-002_20161201.pdf

Have a great day,
Yuri

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
