I am working on the i.MX8MP processor and omnivision's OS05B10 camera sensor. I am using linux kernel 6.12.y from https://github.com/nxp-imx/linux-imx . I am not able to see the OS05B10 camera driver with the support of v4l2 in this linux kernel.
Could someone please suggest the available OS05B10 camera driver for i.MX8MP or the standard process to develop a camera driver for i.MX8MP? Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products,

There is no current support for OS05B10 sensor, you could ask the supplier if they have tested any drivers and DTBs on their own, if they haven't, you could choose another sensor already integrated in BSP, please find below the list for OMNIVISION sensors.

If you are interested in porting a new sensor, you can review the following guides:

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/UG10168.pdf

Chapter 6.1.3 Cameras from https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/reference-manual/RM00293.pdf

Keep in mind that ISP has to be calibrated and is completely made on customer side, often requiring 3rd parties or professional services.

Regards
