I have a custom board based on imx6ul evk. I know it's possible to wake up board from sleep by RTC alarm but is it possible in case of shutdown also? Suppose we set an alarm and shutdown board then can configure our board to wake up by RTC alarm.

Hello,

According to section 46.2.2.2 (Time counter alarm) of i.MX 6UltraLite Reference Manual,

Rev. 1, 04/2016 :
"The SNVS _HP non-secure RTC has its own time alarm register. Any application can
update this register. The SNVS _HP time alarm can generate interrupts to alert the host
processor and can wake up the host processor from one of its low-power modes. Note
that this alarm cannot wake up the entire system if it is powered off because this alarm
would also be powered off."

As for the SRTC - please refer to i.MX6UL Security Reference Manual. We cannot discuss

this in public anyway.

Have a great day,
Yuri

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.
