git clone from git.freescale.com fails

Freescale's GIT server seems to be done for 'git' access:

git clone git://git.freescale.com/imx/imx-firmware.git
Cloning into 'imx-firmware'...
fatal: read error: Connection reset by peer

Web interface is working ...

Can someone verify this?

I tested the git server and is working correctly. Would you please test it again to see if it’s working for you now? There have been some problems to connect that usually don’t last long. My apologies for the inconvenience.

Hi,

I have similar problems.

git aborts with "connection reset by peer" and the web interface is incredibly slow. Are there so many accesses to this server or does it have so little resources?

We are facing the same issue, Any updates from the NXP on this?!!!

Last month it was working for us. Now we are also getting the issue "connection reset by peer" !! on attempting

repo init -u git://git.freescale.com/imx/fsl-arm-yocto-bsp.git -b imx-4.1.15-1.0.0._ga

Are you still being unable to sync from the freescale git? The problems were momentary in most cases but if it persist please let us know.

Hello,

unfortunately I have to use git over https (git config changes git:// to https://).

git clone https://git.freescale.com/imx/imx-firmware.git is not working.

Is https not supported by the Freescale server?
