Hai,

I am trying to boot latest Linux kernel(4.8) from kernel.org on my imx6q based board. But kernel booting stops after following print,

Loading Device Tree to 4f553000, end 4f5636c8 ... OK

Starting kernel ...

Here is the steps I followed:

Used default available "imx_v6_v7_defconfig" in base kernel to create .config.

Generated uImage and dtb using "make;make uImage LOADADDR=0x10800000" (which is default for our board).

Copied Generated binaries to SATA.

Changed boot arguments to boot uImage from SATA.

After doing above steps I got stuck in

Loading Device Tree to 4f553000, end 4f5636c8 ... OK

I could able to boot 4.1.15 kernel successfully, but I can't able to proceed in 4.8 kernel. Since Kernel itself not booting i am not able to proceed any further.
