Hi,

In my iMX6D based design we have used the MMPF0100 to supply voltage to CPU/SOC core and other interface devices. As per PMIC OTP SW3A/B supply to 1.5V. I have applied SW3A to DDR3L (1.5V) and SW3B to external interface with 1.8V. SW4 and SWBST are not powering any interfaces, so kept those floating.

Can we make PMIC power schematic in this manner?

Please see attached schematic page for PMIC.

Kindly review it and let me know you view.

Regards,

Mrudang

Yes, it is possible to use the SW3A and SW3B regulators of the MMPF0100 PMIC separately and independently, as shown on your schematic. Please note that a custom OTP configuration should be used for that.

Also, please note that it is recommended for the MMPF0100 PMIC (refer to the AN4717 document) to connect the inputs of even unused switching regulators (SW4IN and SWBSTIN in your case) to VIN, whereas these inputs are left floating on your schematic. Please fix this as well.

Have a great day,
Artur

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button. Thank you!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
