Dear Sir

I want to ask about a method of realizing a high-resolution audio system with i.MX6 and Linux.

Customer wants to use 192KHz/24bit FLAC and WAV format.

I think that the FLAC is encoded data, and WAV is raw data.

It seems that the Yocto Linux includes the codec for FLAC.

Q1.

Can I understand that it is able to realize a high-resolution audio system (192KHz/24bit FLAC and WAV format) by using the i.MX6 with Yocto Linux(L4.1.15)?

Q2.

Can I understand that it uses the ESAI(DACDAT, LRCLK, BCLK) to send the FLAC decoded data or WAV raw data from i.MX6 to a codec device?

Best Regards,
