how to check yocto project version?

Hi,

I have installed IMX6 sololite build using yocto project.The kernel version for the sololite is 3.10.Can someone help me how to check yocto project version?

Hello Susangrace Rapaka,

If you are using one of the BSP Releases you can find the information on what Yocto Project version it is based in the Freescale Yocto Project User's Guide.

The easiest way to know your Yocto Project version is to check it on the poky.conf file which is located on the following path:

/<BSP-DIR>/sources/poky/meta-yocto/conf/distro/poky.conf

You will find the Yocto Project version under DISTRO_VERSION

It should be meta-poky but meta-yocto, both in krogoth and sumo
