The demo on ecs is also canceled.

I am happy to announce that my OpenGL enabled QWS plugin together with my extended EGL stack for i.mx 51/53 will be released within two weeks from today. That means that windowed GLES will finally be possible on the i.mx. I will build it for the i.mx6.

There is going to be a public demonstration on Embedded Conference Scandinavia ( ECS Hem) of the QWS plugin and the fantastic features with Qt5 on i.mx 6.

A new video of the rebuilt QWS plugin running on a i.mx 53 QSB:

new version of qt qws gl plugin i.MX53 - YouTube

Michael

Message was edited by: Michael Grunditz

Message was edited by: Michael Grunditz

Do you have any video showing your demo?

What do you have on your windowed GLES? Do you have only OpenGLES draws? Or QT widgets as well?

Best Regards,

Rogerio Pimentel

Hi Rogerio

Basicly I did a QWS plugin 2 years ago that allowed QGLWidgets to be displayed inside 2D widgets. It allows the windows to be moved around and resized. The new api is called "nwindow" and is a new EGLnativewindow type.

The 2D parts are blitted with the standard raster driver. There will be accurate documentation with the release.

I have a old video of the original plugin:

QGLWidget on Efika MX Smartbook by Genesi - YouTube
