Hi there,

Is it possible to apply different (non-default) clock sources to drive GPIOs of i.MX6?

Although I know Table 18-3 in the Ref Manual lists only ipg_clk_root as clock root, I would like to know there is any possibility of using other clock roots for GPIO...

To make me able to provide you with an accurate answer, please specify, what exactly i.MX6 family processor do you mean. Is it i.MX6Quad, Dual, DualLite, Solo, SoloLite etc?..

No, there is no way to use the clock roots other than ipg_clk_root to drive the GPIO module's main clock in the i.MX6Quad processor.
