Disk Encryption stuck on i.mx6

Hi,

we are facing a problem where the android disk encryption gets stuck while encrypting the /data partition. It gets stuck after encrypting around 90k-180k blocks. We tried this using command line cryptsetup and dd utility, still have the same results.

Did anyone face the same problem?

COMMANDS

==========

$ cryptsetup create mmcblk2p1_crypted --verbose --cipher "aes-cbc-essiv:sha256" --key-file /data/enc_key.bin --keyfile-size 16 --key-size 128 /dev/block/mmcblk2p1

$ dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk2p1 of=/dev/mapper/mmcblk2p1_crypted

## never comes out from this dd call

board: nitrogen6_max

android version: boundary-imx-kk4.4.3_2.0.0-ga

This post is the follow-up of this one to which I already answered:

can't encrypt on android port of Nitrogen6_max

Yes encryption isn't supported in our KitKat release, it has been ported and tested on Marshmallow, please use the latter.

anandmistry, please close one of the two threads, no need to keep them both open.
