Which settings did you tweak?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It can't be only because of &lt;SPAN style="color: #339966;"&gt;"&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #51626f; background-color: #ffffff;"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color: #339966;"&gt;Disable HW overlays"&lt;/SPAN&gt;, correct?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>i.MX6 GPU Test on Android</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have a new project using i.mx6q with lpddr2 ( single channel mode, 2 chip select, total 1GB). We have some GPU and we do some test with other &lt;SPAN&gt;similar&lt;/SPAN&gt; boards, issues summies as below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1).Board_A (using ddr3, 2GB), Board_B(lpddr2 32bit, 1GB)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;===&amp;gt;OS: Android 4.3 ( Same BSP, boot loader is different because ddr type)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Board_C (ddr3 1GB)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;===&amp;gt; OS: Android 4.2&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3). Test tool: GFX Bench GL V4.0.2, Antutu V6.2.1 and StabilityTest V2.7&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Result:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;GFX Bench GL, on &amp;nbsp;Item "Render Quality" and " Render Quality (high precision)"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_A (DDR3) Score: 3053&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_B (LPDDR2) Score: -1&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_C (DDR3, JB4.2): not supported. Actually, all test items are couldn't to test.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt; Qusetion 1 &amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_A and Board_B using same BSP, the only different is memory type.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why score have so big different ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does 3D library supports LPDDR2 ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Antutu V6.2.1, Item: 3D&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_A (DDR3) Score:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; 3D[Marooned]: unsupported (ok, because it's base on opengl es 3.0)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; 3D[Garden] :612&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_B (LPDDR2) Score:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; 3D[Marooned]: unsupported (ok, because it's base on opengl es 3.0)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; 3D[Garden] : 475&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_C (DDR3, JB4.2):&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; 3D[Marooned]: unsupported (ok, because it's base on opengl es 3.0)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; 3D[Garden] : unsupported&amp;nbsp; (v5.7.1 pass)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt; Qusetion 2 &amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Different Version of 3D library seems have different supported.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do you have release note or errata of 3D lbrary for Android ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;StabilityTest V2.7&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_A (DDR3):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Classic Stability Test: Pass (more then 24 hours)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; GPU + CPU Stability Test : Pass (more then 8 hours)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_B (LPDDR2):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Classic Stability Test: Pass (more then 24 hours)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; GPU + CPU Stability Test 720p : Fail (crash in 1 minuts, sometimes more then 2 minuts)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; GPU + CPU Stability Test 1080p : Fail (crash in 5 minuts, sometimes more then 10 minuts)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; GPU + CPU Stability Test 1080p : Pass (more then 8 hours if select "Disable HW overlays" )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Board_C (DDR3, JB4.2):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; Classic Stability Test: Pass (more then 24 hours)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; GPU + CPU Stability Test : Pass (more then 8 hours)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt; Qusetion 3 &amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why i need to disable hw overlays ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt;&amp;lt; Qusetion 4 &amp;gt;&amp;gt;&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does any difference of support DDR3 and LPDDR2 in gpu_viv on Android ?       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi David&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;Do you have release note or errata of 3D lbrary for Android ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Usually next linux release contains errata, so for JB4.2&amp;amp;L3.0.35 it&lt;BR /&gt;is JB4.3 please refer to attached document.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;Does any difference of support DDR3 and LPDDR2 in gpu_viv on Android ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;Board_A and Board_B using same BSP, the only different is memory type.&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;Why score have so big different ?&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;Does 3D library supports LPDDR2 ?&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;gt;Same BSP, boot loader is different because ddr type&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Default BSP does not support i.MX6Q&amp;amp;lpddr2 and appropriate &lt;BR /&gt;integration should be made in mx6_suspend.S for i.MX6Q using&lt;BR /&gt;lpddr2.
