Hi,

I have a question and an issue with the i.MX28 SAIF pins using the Mainline kernel version 4.7.

Why is the MCLK always active, even if no audio playback is started?

If the CPU goes into standby mode, the output state of the MCLK and BITCLK are not reliable. Sometimes they go into HIGH state, another time into LOW state. What is the supposed behavior for these pins in standby mode?

Jörg Krause

EDIT: Note about Mainline kernel and version.
