Question, i.MX6SL PRESS_TIME configuration

Dear team,

I would like to ask about PRESS_TIME bit field in SNVS_LPCR Register of i.MX6SL.

My customer is trying to change PRESS_TIME bit in SNVS_LPCR Register of i.MX6SL, but they cannot change it.

According to the following community thread, it seems to state that users cannot change PRESS_TIME.

Correct?

Configure SNVS Power Key

My customer wants to achieve the feature of power-down after 10 Sec power-switch-push as a feature of their product.

Please let me know if you have any ideas to achieve the feature.

Hello,

This is a documentation issue - correct bit fields description may be found in

Security Reference Manual for i.MX 6SoloLite. Bits 16:31 of SNVS_LPCR are

reserved.
External schematic is needed "to achieve the feature of power-down
after 10 Sec power-switch-push".

Do you mean that BTN_PRESS_TIME bit field does not exist?

Can you show me the example of the external schematic?

If the button press time cannot be changed, is it possible to disable the long press feature?

The customer thinks that they can control it by their software?

Yes, BTN_PRESS_TIME bit field does not exist.
