GPIO ports up to 1.3 mA can be used. Regarding "At this time, the VOH output of 3.3 V"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;seems datasheet has not such parameter. Please check Table 23.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi community.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Our customer has tree question below.Would please advice.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Q1,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The absolute maximum rating of the output current of the GPIO?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is to destroy and too much current through CMOS transistors?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Q2,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My understanding is correct ? The output current is limited by the VOH/VOL and the DSE.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The examples listed below.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Design examples)OVDD=3.3V and DSE:111 = 20 Ω than (Table36 of IMX6SDLAEC ), VOH=2.64V, VOL=0.66V design.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ioh = (OVDD-VOH) / 20 Ω = (3.3-2.64) / 20 = 33 mA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;IOL = Ω = 0.66 VOL 20 / 20 = 33 mA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Therefore, less than 33 mA &lt;SPAN class="highlighted"&gt;output&lt;/SPAN&gt; current in order to satisfy the VOH/VOL.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Q3,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For our specific use cases.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;May be used currently in our system GPIO ports up to 1.3 mA (only one port. Others are used in less than 1 mA).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;At this time, the VOH output of 3.3 V. But we would not be able to destroy ?.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
