No. We have no such schematic example.

You are supposed to create a schematic yourself.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

i.MX6UL processor have such interface: MQS_LEFT and MQS_RIGHT pins.

They are PWM encoded. So you can connect audio amplifier to them with a filter.

Have a great day,

Victor

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: If this post answers your question, please click the Correct Answer button.

Are there an example schematics for i.MX6UL MQS (Medium quality sound)? Is this really as simple as connecting the output directly to an audio amp?

Also, is there a linux driver available for MQS?

Thanks,
Cliff

Hello,

The i.MX6UL MQS is used to generate medium quality audio via standard GPIO
and produces PWM signal, fixed in amplitude and frequence, but varying in
duty cycle. So additional RC filter is needed at output, this will produce
medium quality sound without an additional DAC.

Regards,

Yuri.
