SW JPEG Codec for i.MX6UL

Dear all,

We refer to i.MX_Linux_Rerease_Notes for LinuxBSP of i.MX6UL.

(fsl-yocto-L3.14.52_1.1.0-ga.tar.gz)

In Image codec specification of this document, Encode/Decode of the JPEG is performed by software.

Would you tell me the maximum size that i.MX6UL can support?

Can this support MJPEG, too?

If yes, would you tell me maximum size and fps ?

Please note that i.MX6 UL processor has no Image Processing Unit

and all image processing should be performed in the software.

So there are no any special limitations to image size.

As for MJPEG it should be en-/decoded in the software too.

So there is no any special limitations too.

And we have no FPS estimations regarding these codecs.
