You may want to change the settings of the E-Ink but I wouldn’t recommend it.       <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I am working with imx6sololite evk with eink display IMXEBOOKDC3-E.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Android version -ICS 4.0.4&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Compiled source booting fine with my compiled source epdc is up and running.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now I want to do some android customization for better eink display&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.How to increase the native heap size of OS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.Screen refresh management --&amp;gt;E-ink display is too slow,and sluggish.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
