COM Port is not working when I connect my board in this way

I am using minicom, all the necessary drivers have been installed.

When I use Serial Cable I connect with minicom configured like this

When I use USB i use Serial Device as /dev/ttyUSB0 .

When I use a USB to Serial Connector, the board is then working fine, I mean I am able to communicate with my board.

The serial cable and COM Port if used individually are working fine.

Any idea about this problem?

Regards :: Krishna Pavan
