IMX 53 problem

hey friends, i am working on I.MX53 QSB. i want to install linux on this board. i installed MFG tool and burn the images that are given in IMX profile on the board. it successfuly installed but after that when i boot the board , only penguin sign of linux comes :) nothing more ?

can any body tell me whats the problem ?

What image you used to flash into QSB? Do you follow some user guide? Please tell us some detailed information.

i used MFG tool to burn images. there are profiles in this tool ..select your board profile ( imx 53 ) and then click on start . it will start burning images that are already present in profile .

The MFGTool 1.6.2.0322 that is available to download has several bad profile images. Specificall the WinCE images for the imx53 are all bad. I am not sure if you are wanting linux or wince. Check the file sizes with the other hardware profiles. The linux OF Firmware files look ok but I have not tried using them yet. My focus is WinCE on the imx53 QSB.
